Illustrating way finding for Oxford Properties Group’s Airport Road Industrial Campus location. jh•architecture is on the design roster and has an ongoing relationship with Oxford Properties Group. The firm has worked on multiple varying projects for the company since its inception in 2009.
Recently, our firm developed several canopy concept enhancement designs to be added to their existing buildings located on Airport Road in Brampton. The client wanted the canopies to accentuate the entry points into the buildings. The existing facade could not be altered and therefore the canopies are freestanding. The canopies used various materials strategies ranging from large wooden beams, metal, concrete and glass to update the appearance of the existing buildings.
Currently, we have been retained to re-design the existing way finding strategies for tenant signage. The new design incorporates the existing precast concrete pylons located at this same location in Brampton, and unifies the signage throughout the campus. Three unique designs were explored in BIM to test materials and compositions to demonstrate the possibilities to the client.
